“We first hired QualCraft Construction to build our indoor basketball court. The construction and service exceeded our expectations – the job was done on time and within budget. The work was fully supervised and communication was excellent. Since then we’ve hired them for interior and exterior remodels and do not consider anyone else.”

“Just went through a Kitchen remodel, the process was managed by the QualCraft Team every day their worked in our home to accomplish this big undertaking and were always timely with the plan of attack. A full gut remodel can be disturbing to a family living in the home while the remodel is under going, but he QualCraft Team made this process extremely easy.”

“Mike and Sean were great to work with, answered questions and returned all phone calls quickly. Construction crew were all very friendly, qualified and trustworthy as they performed a major remodel of our dream home. Mike and Sean explained each step and supplied all receipts when requested so we could monitor expenditures. We are confident in the construction, especially when extensive termite damage was discovered and Qualcraft replaced a major weight bearing beam. Oh, and they tidied up at the end of every work day!”

“It has been such a pleasure to work with QualCraft. They are very organized, on time, and always eager to please. The quality of work is excellent, and runs smoothly. Their design consultant was so helpful and always met you with a smile on her face. I wanted to be involved in the decision making process, which worked very well, even long distance. I would choose Mike and his team again, and look forward to the experience.”

“I have been working with Qualcraft for many years now on projects ranging in various types, sizes and scopes throughout Coronado and the greater San Diego region and regardless of being a big or small, Mike has always treated each project with the utmost importance, care, and quality in its completion.”

“Our first project with QualCraft and Mike JacobsBonnett more than 10 years ago was a 5000 bottle wine cellar room addition; a tricky project with moisture barrier, thicker insulation, 2×6 instead of 2×4 joists, drain, special construction requirements and split refrigeration systems. Three month projectcompleted on time (+/ a week), on budget, with absolutely outstanding quality. From the day it was finished it didn’t look like a room addition from the outside. We have walked through a high end custom home they did during construction, excellent quality. Since then they have done several major remodels (including walls moved) in several rooms of our home and some of our rental properties; same QualCraft signature: everyday the work site is left clean (very rarely seen with most contractors), project very close to on time and within budget, helpful suggestions along the way (choice of price/quality items and alternate ideas to consider utilizing the latest equipment and quality), and a very responsive, easily reached general contractor (Mike) who keeps close watch on all his project sites. They have done a major trek deck construction (2200 sq ft) on a steep hillside with retaining wall for us that is beautiful and admired by everyone who sees it. They do top quality work, if you are looking for cheap and easy, go elsewhere. Mike is very smart, very experienced, and takes pride in his work.
We had one problem that came to light about a year after project completion; they were all over it. It turned out that one of their subs (which have always reflected the QualCraft standard) made an unintentional and undiscovered error that was difficult to diagnose (required very expensive remote fiber optic video to find); we got number one priority, no cost spared, in diagnosing the difficult problem and fixing it. They stand behind their work. I recommend them highly without reservations.”

“We have used QualCraft for multiple projects here at the resort. They have completed small and large projects for us and are always on time, under budget and work is completed in an utmost professional manner. That is almost all secondary to the most important reason we continue to use QualCraft as our preferred small/mid job contractor and that is the guest impact. Being a 24/7 operation, we are always wary of any impact to the guest experience with any projects we are taking on.
Among QualCraft’s major front of house projects with us are:
- SUITE CONVERSION PROJECT (CONVERT 16 ONE BEDROOM SUITES TO 2 BDR)
- POKER ROOM CONSTRUCTION (DEMOLISH UNUSED CASHIER CAGE AND REMODEL INTO NEW POKER ROOM)
- CASINO FLOOR RESTROOM REMODEL (NEAR COMPLETE GUT OF ALL CASINO FLOOR
- RESTROOMS AND INSTALLATION OF NEW DESIGN FINISHES)
- POOL AREA REMODEL (INCLUDED ADDING FIRE PITS AND AN OUTDOOR GAMING EXPERIENCE)
- BAR AND LOUNGE RENOVATION
- CONVERSION OF EXISTING POKER ROOM TO NEW CONFERENCE ROOM SPACE
The QualCraft team will work tirelessly to make sure that any footprint they work in, the guests are always front of mind when scheduling or performing any task associated with any given project. If a task requires off hours or special scheduling to accommodate an impact, QualCraft will make it happen.”
